Introduction

If you could have anything in the world, what would you want to have the most?

Matthew 5:7-12

Matthew 5 [7] Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. [8] Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. [9] Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God. [10] Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. [11] "Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. [12] Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

7 怜恤人的人有福了，因为他们必蒙怜恤。8 清心的人有福了，因为他们必得见神。9 使人和睦的人有福了，因为他们必称为神的儿子。10 为义受逼迫的人有福了，因为天国是他们的。11 人若因我辱骂你们，逼迫你们，捏造各样坏话毁谤你们，你们就有福了。12 应当欢喜快乐，因为你们在天上的赏赐是大的。在你们以前的先知，人也是这样逼迫他们。

2. When you see someone in need, do you usually try to help him or her? Why or why not?

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God?
